Overview

The Senior UX Designer will create user-centric, business-driven strategies, for e-commerce websites and execute them through interfaces that are functional, reliable, usable and beautiful. They will operate within a high-functioning, cross-departmental team of CRO experts, UI Developers, QA Analysts, and Project Managers to create and optimize the shopping experience for our client’s websites. You will be drawing from a treasure trove of cross-client learnings and ecommerce-best practices that Anatta has collated over its 11 years in the business - and working within a larger UX team of skilled designers and researchers.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will own all aspects of User Experience design and development for your client, including gathering and understanding business & user needs, devising user flows, building out detailed annotated wireframes, high/low fidelity prototypes, and a wide range of strategic UX deliverables.

  • Creation of user-centric, feasible, and strategic UI designs for fast-growing DTC sites
  • Understanding and transforming client needs / problems into a design solution
  • Presenting ideas/design concepts and articulating design decisions to internal / external stakeholders and negotiating for the best approach
  • Looking at client KPIs and analytics data to validate design decisions 
  • Collaborating with your Creative Director and fellow designers and incorporating their feedback into your work.
  • Collaborating with Developers / QA analysts: Vet feasibility of designs beforehand, and ensure timely and thorough Handoffs.
  • Coordinating with the Project Manager and escalate delays and blockers
  • Collaborating with User Researchers in continuous website optimisations by prototyping and testing UX improvements
  • Working within an agile environment: Regular cadence of meetings, deliveries and sprint ceremonies.
  • Influence and inform the client roadmap, offer advice on the scope, breakdown and sizing of a project or task.
  • Studying user behavior-trends and the competitive landscape to determine potential opportunities to improve conversion rates

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience; strong performer with a track record of success
  • Portfolio of UI/UX design projects - Please make sure to include eCommerce projects
  • High Figma Proficiency
  • Ability to wireframe, prototype and execute digital interfaces
  • Understanding of eCommerce best-practices, CRO principles, Shopify systems.
  • Understanding of UX practices like information architecture, user-flows, usability studies, user personas, etc
  • Experience working with design systems / UI Libraries
  • A strong grasp of of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with team members
  • Desire to learn and grow in an e-commerce agency environment.
  • Good to Have:
    • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., generative UI, Figma plugins) to accelerate ideation and exploration
    • Working knowledge and experience with Analytics tools like GA, GTM, etc
    • Familiarity with AB Testing and AB testing tools
    • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation
    • Working knowledge of digital marketing campaigns / email campaigns / paid social strategies

Physical demands requirements

Common office/desk environment that involves long periods of time at a stationary desk with extensive computer work that requires repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
